Lived Experiences of Teachers, Parents, and Learners in Science Amidst Pandemic

COVID-19 pandemic has affected the educational system worldwide. Policies were created and implemented to guide schools offer flexible learning. Nevertheless, its implementation was partly in favor of those on mainland. So, author explored lived experiences teachers, parents, learners Science about their problems encountered, coping mechanisms, perception learning modality an island school. With this, in-depth interview employed gather data triangulated through observation focus group discussion. Thematic analysis revealed that complexity topics, conduct experiments materialization, unreliability scores teachers' problems; mechanisms teacher-parent communication, additional resources, house-to-house visitation; perceptions disclosed is difficult. Participants' modular approach attributed mechanisms. Hence, Department Education may provide professional opportunities such as seminars, workshops, training enhance skills teachers needed relevant current setting education.
